The Tour
This awesome tour starts with a visit to a brand new Temple handmade by local sculptors. Wat Pa Phutthachinwongsaram, also known as Mon Phayanak, features a 280 meter/900 foot long, 45 meter/150 foot tall Naga serpent sculpture, with stunning interior decorations that create the feeling of being inside the belly of the sacred serpent.
Next we will take a scenic ride through some backroads and around the lake where even locals rarely go stopping for lunch.
The last stop is Doi Busarakham’s Wat Analayo Thipyarama, a beautiful temple perched on a mountain top built by the monk Phra Ajarn Paiboon Sumangkalo. The temple boasts a serene atmosphere, stunning architecture blending various artistic styles. Parts of it are embedded in the forest and give it the Angkor Wat vibe while offering a breathtaking views of Phayao Lake . It is also an important place for meditation and spiritual practice.
Finally, it’s of to dinner and music with a sunset view at a local fine dinning establishment.
